Due to popular demand, we are meeting for a monthly training session.

About us
The Stock Exchange Swimming Club (SESC) is a historic swimming club that has been a part of the community for over a century (with two short breaks, one spanning both World Wars and another over the recent pandemic).
The SESC has been around since 1911. We provide swimmers a challenge by proving their training in 5 different types and styles of competitions.
The competitions are open to all city professionals of London to attend. Training is usaually swum individually and independent of the club, we are looking to restart our monthly training sessions.
The setting we provide is relaxed and offers opportunity for swimmers to compete at different levels and provide a place to socialise with other like minded professionals from across the city.
For each event we have medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd
Most races have a sliver trophy alocated to it.

The Gala is open to all swimmers who are professionals working in the City.

4. Men's Breaststroke Club Championship - 2 lengths

7. Ladies' 25m Butterfly Club Championship - 1 length
8. Men's Backstroke Handicap - 2 lengths
9. Ladies' 25m Backstroke Club Championship - 1 length
10. Veterans' 25m Handicap (free style) - 1 length
11. Ladies' 25m Handicap (free style) - 1 length
12. Squadron Relay (2 x 50, 3 x 25m) - 5 lengths
13. Inter-Firm Challenge Shield (3 x 50m) - 6 lengths
14. Men's Backstroke Club Championship - 2 lengths
15. Mixed Individual 100m Medley Handicap - 4 lengths
16. Men's Handicap (free style) - 2 lengths
17. Ladies' Inter-Firm Medley Relay (4 x 25m) - 4 lengths

* Handicap races: please submit your completion time by Monday 18 Nov, midnight
This time will be used for your individual start time.
* Veteran swimmers: are 40 years+ as of 1 April 2024.
* Club Championship: relates to a swimmer’s completion time of the race on the night.
* Invitation Medley Relay: includes swimmers’ names pulled from the nights list into teams.
Entry fee is £10 per swimmer. (we can team you up for relays, if you like).
