Five races a year, zero membership fees
The Stock Exchange Swimming Club (SESC) runs five competitions a year for London's professionals. There's no membership fee. You simply pay an entry fee for each race you choose to swim, so you only pay for what you do.
Train your way, meet us monthly
Life is busy, and we don't expect you to be in the pool every week. Most swimmers train on their own, but once a month we host an informal swimming night at a different London pool. It's a relaxed way to swim alongside others, with no coaching and no pressure.
Swim with people who get it
We're a social community for like-minded swimmers who want connection without the commitment of constant training. Whether you're chasing a personal best or just enjoy the water, you'll meet other professionals from across the City in a friendly, welcoming setting.
A club with over a century of stories
The club began in 1911. We've closed three times, for the First World War, the Second World War and the pandemic, and each time we've come back. Because of those pauses, 2027 will see our 100th Gala, and we'd love you to be part of it.
Run by volunteers, open to you
Our committee is five volunteers who give their time to keep the club's cogs turning. If you'd like to help shape what we do, come to our AGM every January. Everyone is welcome.

Richard Jackson Squadron Relay
We’re sad to announce that we have had to cancel the Richard Jackson Squadron Relay. Entries were low, and many of you told us that this time of year is so busy that it’s hard to commit. Thank you for the honest feedback; we completely understand.
We’re excited about our next event, though. The Gala has been a great success in the past, and it’s the perfect way to keep to your New Year’s resolutions. Join us on 20 January at Vauxhall Leisure Centre, starting at 19.00. To register and pay, please use this link:

Upcoming events
As a club we do not offer coach led training sessions but we do like to swim together. We meet up once a month, generally the first Tuesday of the month, usually at 18.30 and each time at a different London Leisure Centre swimming pool.
The Training evenings are informal. Each swimmer books their own space directly with the pool. We meet in the pool and follow each other to a programme we print out for the evening.
And...if you have time, come along for a friendly refreshment at a local pub afterwards.
